Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of E-Islamic Institute's website and online tutoring services. By enrolling or using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

E-Islamic Institute provides live, one-to-one online Quran, Arabic, Islamic studies and Academic Classes tutoring. Classes are delivered via Microsoft Teams or another agreed video platform.

2. Free Trial

New families may request a one-week free trial consisting of up to five consecutive private lessons. The trial is free of charge and does not require a payment method.

3. Payments & Refunds

Monthly fees are due in advance. Refunds are issued at the discretion of the institute for missed lessons caused by tutor absence or technical failures on our side.

4. Conduct & Safeguarding

All communication must remain on institute channels. Parents may observe lessons. We reserve the right to terminate enrolment for abusive behaviour or repeated policy violations.

5. Cancellations, Attendance, and Billing Policies

Active Subscription and Cancellation Responsibility:

Students and parents are solely responsible for managing their active subscriptions. If a student is unable to continue taking classes, they must formally cancel their paid plan through the platform. If an active plan is not explicitly canceled, the student remains liable for the tuition fees, as the teacher's time remains reserved. Our administrative team will make daily contact attempts if a student continuously misses classes without notice, but the financial obligation for the active subscription remains.

Missed Classes and Reserved Time Slots:

For specific schedules, such as the 5-days-a-week plan, students who skip or miss scheduled classes due to personal reasons or technical issues on their end are still fully liable for the tuition fee. When a student subscribes, that specific time slot is reserved exclusively for them with their assigned teacher and cannot be offered to anyone else. Therefore, no refunds, make-up classes, or fee deductions will be provided for classes skipped by the student.

6. Attendance, Refunds, and Academic Progress

Institution Absences and Make-up Classes:

Our instructors rarely miss classes. However, in the unlikely event that the institution cancels a class or an instructor is absent, we will provide a make-up class (typically scheduled on weekends). If a make-up class cannot be arranged, the fee for that specific missed session will be refundable or credited to your next billing cycle.

Student Absences:

If a student misses a scheduled class due to personal reasons, scheduling conflicts, or technical issues on their end, they remain fully liable for the regular tuition fee. Because that specific time slot is reserved exclusively for the student and the teacher is present, no refunds, deductions, or mandatory make-up classes will be provided for student absences.

Student Progress and Transparent Communication:

We are deeply committed to the academic growth of our students and strive for complete transparency. If a parent or student feels that they are not making sufficient progress, they must notify our management team immediately so we can intervene, adjust the teaching method, or change the tutor. If a parent or student fails to communicate these concerns and later claims the student did not learn anything, they are still fully responsible for paying all outstanding dues for the classes taken. Proactive communication is required.

7. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
